Managing Student Behavior (MSB)

Managing Student Behavior employs a Metis created Behavioral Management Template aimed at providing a basic structure for educators to create behavioral management procedures for classrooms and the school.  When implemented, these templates serve to create a civil learning environment where there is respect for learning, people, and property.

The MSB Behavioral Management Template focuses on the following content and processes:

  • Procedure Descriptive Title
  • Expected Behaviors
  • Informing Strategy
  • Teaching the behaviors through
    • Reinforcement
    • Remediation
  • Set-up needed
  • Implementation Plan

Multiple Procedures often provide a structure for the climate of a classroom and lead to the embodiment of a school’s culture.

Following are some examples of individual procedures and groups of procedures developed and implemented if varying learning environments.

Metis welcomes comments and suggestions yielding by your review of these procedures.  Please feel free to forward such to mrrobinson@metisleadershipgroup.com.

We hope that these resources will be of value to you.
